Jonathan Truelove began his career with The Rank Group, working in the Amusement Arcade division. After moving to London at the age of 18, he became one of the youngest Site Managers in the group’s history, remaining in the leisure and gaming sector for several years.

Jonathan later moved to the United States, where he built a career in the casino industry, working with organisations including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Playboy, ultimately rising to Director-level roles in the sector. During this period, he transitioned into Construction Project Management, a discipline he later continued in the UK across a number of high-profile leisure developments.

Having lived and worked internationally, Jonathan has delivered and overseen projects in countries including Russia, Tunisia, Greece and the Balkans, gaining broad experience across business operations, construction delivery and cross-cultural environments.

Back in the UK, Jonathan co-founded the Casino Red brand, converting a former nightclub into a £5m state-of-the-art gambling venue. He has also consulted on major leisure projects including the Opera House Casino, and went on to open and operate his own licensed gambling venue.

Alongside his leisure career, Jonathan began investing in property at the age of 20. What started as a personal investment vehicle gradually became his primary business focus. Over time, he has built and managed a diversified portfolio encompassing property investment, development, storage and leisure-related assets.

Today, Jonathan focuses on owning and stewarding a small number of established businesses.

Jonathan is married with two children and is based on the East Coast of Yorkshire, though he still has a strong affinity for warmer climes.
